RIP Jye & Nathan
Anger. Frustration. Confusion. Fury. Rage.
Just some of the emotions the Gold Coast and Brisbane community were feeling early last year. 36 year old Tania Winifred Clark was sentence to 10 years jail and disqualified from driving for life for the manslaughter of two loving high school students, Jye Strong and Nathan Sprecak. It was a shock to everyone including me, despite the distance. I didn't know Nathan to well we had only an online friendship but Jye and I were somewhat of good buds, so much so he rang off Troy's phone just to wish me a happy New Years Eve.

What I'd give to have that phone call just one more time.
Tania Clark wasn't given enough time behind bars. She should spend eternity behind bars for what she has done and taken away from us all. He was an amazingly bright boy and he filled the room with joy when he entered it.
Being banned from driving for life won't stop her from stealing a car and driving along the cold bitter roads of the Gold Coast. It will just stop her from driving for 10 years. That's all the sentence has given us; safety for 10 years.
